A Code of Conduct is one of the most important policies that a company should have in place, especially if it is not a one man show. It states the ways in which the staff is expected to behave and conduct themselves within the workplace, and also in public, especially if they can be identified as your organisation’s staff or representing the company. You want to make this clear to your staff, in writing, to avoid confusion when proceeding with disciplinary action.
